We are a grassroots collective of citizens working together to dismantle state-enabled AI-powered mass surveillance technology in Saint Paul, Minnesota through awareness, education, and civic engagement.
We envision a city that builds safety through connecting and building relationships between neighbors — not by connecting technology and building systems of AI-powered mass surveillance.
We believe safety and security are achieved by:
Cancel all current and future planned city contracts for all AI-powered mass surveillance technology.
Enact policies and ordinances that prevent the city from collecting or obtaining AI-powered mass surveillance data.
Awareness: Build recognition through media / social media coverage and by partnering with local community groups and nonprofits to amplify our campaign by tabling, cross-posting, flyering, and/or handouts.
Education: Inform and educate citizens on the current state of AI-powered mass surveillance technology in Saint Paul through printed materials, community engagement meetings/discussions and/or panels.
Civic engagement: Provide the tools for citizens to engage with decision-maker actions through email, phone, public comments, and/or public meetings.
